Rash after protected sex

I had a asked a question back in April about an exposure of protected sex twice with a friend who I did not know the status of..I failed to mention that about a week later I broke out into a rash on my legs that was red and itchy..even kind of scaley, it was strange..But I was on vacation in the carribbean and was in and out of hot tubs, pool, & the ocean..I don't know why but it just occurred to me now...Is this anything to be concerned over?
