Really need a risk assessment for my sexual behavior

Hi! I am a 20-year-old gay from Asia. And I had sex with another guy on Feb 17th. I really wonder if I need to get an HIV test.

We first French kissed for several minutes (maybe 2-3 min), and then licked each other's nipple for a while. Next, he did anal fingering on me and we had mutual oral sex (I had an ulcer in my mouth, and he did a little "deep throat").

My questions are:
1) Am I exposed to HIV risk?
2) Should I get tested for HIV? I am too scared to have a test in CDC.

P.S.: I had some symptoms the second day after the sex: fever (brought down the fourth day after the sex), a sore throat (still not fully recovered). My fear comes mainly from my symptoms.

Thank you so much for your time and patience. :) I really need your kind help!

Hi, please find answers to your queries as below,

1) No, you are not exposed to HIV here as there was no condomless penetrative sex in your sexual act.

2) You do not need any HIV related testing for the act stated above.

I hope I helped you.

You are welcome. Anal fingering and external genital rubbing/handjob with or without secretion is not a risk for HIV. In sexual intercourse, HIV transmission   can happen only during unprotected anal/vaginal penetration. Always use a condom for penetrative sex.

Hi alpha_index9!

Thanks so much for your kind answer! You really helped me relieve a lot.

But I wonder if anal fingering is also a kind of condomless penetrative sex.

Thank you!
