Receiving blowjob

Hello.

I have read on official websites on the internet that receiving a blowjob is a risk.
Is that true?

As stated, the only risks for HIV are unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles. Air and saliva inactivate the virus.

You can read anything on the internet and some sites use theoretical risks that have never manifested in the 40 years of history of hiv.
We rely on the opinion of expert doctors so do not pay attention to what you can locate on the internet, otherwise we will be arguing all day.

So receiving a blowjob is definetely no risk?
If I receive a blowjob from a sexworker, I can't get hiv?
Answer to both is no. That is why sex workers require condoms for vaginal but not for oral. You are safe so should move on from hiv fears.
You are focusing on the wrong virus. If one of you has Covid, there is 100% chance you will get it from each other. Here is the forum.  https://www.medhelp.org/forums/Coronavirus/show/2203
