Risk from sharp edge of scissors

I got injured from s sharp edge which was protruding out of the handle of a scissor. This scissor was sharpened by a guy who was looking visibly sick just a few seconds before this. So there is a high chance that he also would have got injured by the same sharp edge out of the handle. What's the risk of hiv here.

As you've either read or been answered previously by the folks on the forum, there are three risks for acquiring HIV.  They include simply:  1. having unprotected (without condom) vaginal sex with penetration.  2. having unprotected (without condom) anal sex with penetration and 3. sharing injectable IV drug needles.  Notice that every one of these takes place INSIDE the body.  Being cut does not transmit the virus from an object like scissors.  Air inactivates the virus.  So, your scenario and all like it are absolutely ZERO RISK for hiv.
