Is HIV considered inactive after it begins to bleed from inside your mouth or gums?

Good morning,
Try to understand all that is written on these forum as well as others that during open mouth French kissing the saliva and air basically render it useless?  If that is true than this infection possibility or certainty is almost nil?  So even in the open of two oral cavaties both with blood, cuts, slashes, etc the chance of "mixing" or infection just isnt there? If that is how it is then its certainly been explained in a way that makes sense and I comprehend. For interest and educational purposes only - What/How does the air and saliva neutralize this infection? Thank you for your time! I would ask all who reply to give good details as I wish to attain and understand so I too can be informed. Its the knowledge that makes all things possible!

This is a risk assessment forum where people post their risk and receive guidance on whether they had a risk or not and whether testing is needed or not. For more in depth virology or biology lessons, you'll need to consult a textbook or attend a class.

In an adult, only unprotected anal or vaginal sex and sharing IV drug needles with infected users could possibly result in HIV infection. Kissing is not a risk and has never resulted in HIV infection.
