Risk of HIV transmission from broken condom.

3 weeks ago, I had sex with a casual friend for the first time, (I was the bottom). I hadn't had sex in a couple of years so i was bleeding a little bit, (we didn't use lube). When the condom broke, we stop immediately.

I ask him about his status and he said he was negative. (Even showed me a picture of his last result from a rapid blood test). Im a little bit worried, since i try to be very careful and safe about my sex life. But i am feeling all types of ways.

If he is your friend, he probably wouldn't lie to you.

If you wish to get tested, you could get your self a conclusive at 6 weeks with a IV Gen HIV test or at 8 weeks or later with any standard antibody test.
