Scared!!

Hellooo!
I live in Kano, Nigeria. Risk of HIV here is very high!! So the question is yesterday night, I slept with a prostitute PROTECTED (no breakage nothing). That girl didn't tell me she was on her period. As soon as I was done, I saw blood on the condom and on my pubes, it wasn't very much on my pubes but it was noticeable!
I have a small wound from when I shaved my pubes a week, it wasn't bleeding. She says she's fine but I can't trust her 100%. What is the risk of contracting HIV? What do I do? I'm panicking!!!

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

transmission takes place INSIDE the body...as in a penis INSIDE a vagina / anus.

you had no risk ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Thanks Teak, I feel much better already. But I read that someone can be infected from blood to blood outside body, as in blood to wound. How should the wound be for it to be infectious?

Okay I see, but the thing is when I removed my condom, some blood from condom touched my shaft. Then I washed with water.. Could it enter my penis or urethra??

a wound from a week ago is NOT an entry point for hiv to enter the bloodstream.

you had NO risk and do not need testing.
