Semen on sore

So on 11/30 I had an exposure. Male to male frontage. Penis between thighs from the back. NO Penetration. Penis near anus. The other party ejaculated on me mostly my shorts but I don’t recall. I got super nervous this has never happened and his status is unknown.

That night I went home and looked on google of transmission was possible from semen on skin or could the skin have gone into my anus.

I could not sleep. The next morning I realized I had a sore near my anus more than likely from frottage. I went to a health clinic to be proactive (pep). When I got there I had 2 quick test done and they said they were not conclusive but has to be treated as a positive they put me on bikvatry for tx and pep. Since I knew I hadn’t had any exposures and was tested a year ago.

The dr thought the cut on my anus was related to syphylis or Gonnoreah. I was in denial and went and got a full panel of blood work the next day all negative.

I called the clinic back and they advised me to finish the pep just in case. I’ve had diahrrea twice and the side effects are terrible. I’ve been so stressed out and don’t know what to do. I have 5 days of pep left.

Am I at risk if he was positive?
I’m stressing the f out please advise.

As you never had a risk for HIV as our members have expressed to you, we are closing this thread.  We highly recommend you seek mental health support to deal with your ongoing anxiety.

Just updating.
Still very anxious waiting on D90 for my last test.

Recently have got muscle spasm and some pain 5 days. Which apparently are not related since I had no risk. TBD

This is an hiv forum and you don't have hiv. This is not a muscle spasm forum so see doc since you are in pain, instead of wasting any more time on an hiv spasm idea.

Also, consider therapy to try to deal with your hiv obsession because you might as well test for male pregnancy as hiv.

Tested negative at 29 days and 51 days from “situation” 4th gen.

Of course it was negative, since you had no hiv risk. You might as well have tested for male pregnancy.

The bood work was done at a different facility they said BC it was 4th generation testing it didn’t matter that I was on pep.

The clinic that gave me the pep said pep medication ja the same pill as HIV treatment which is biktravy.

Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  ( fingers, penis, precum, maybe blood from cuts, etc.). No hiv worries, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the worst that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
This is a very bad clinic so you should never go back. The doctor just gave you PEP (because you were taking up his time) so he could get rid of you and move on to his next patient.

They gave me the pep as hiv treatment. I honestly felt as if I was being judged. She mentioned the site looked like syphilis had another nurse come look she said yeast.

The whole 2 test having “faint” positive lines meant positive to HIV. So they had to treat me that way. Idk I left there thinking I had HIV and I was a mess. This whole month has been terrible

That's the point, you had no risk.  A knowledgeable doctor would not have given you pep.  Listen, from the exposure you described in this post, it would not be HIV.  Frottage does not lead to exposure, ejaculation on or near your anus with or without a cut does not lead to exposure.  This clinic you went to stinks!  Sorry to be so blunt. If you were negative before this exposure you describe in your thread, you are negative for HIV.
Thank you!! They want to keep taking the pep and go back to get tested. I was just going to go get blood work somewhere else and bring them the paperwork. They are actually an HIV clinic that offer pep and prep. I’m thinking they get paid to give the stuff out.
could be. Prep isn't a bad idea if you engage in unprotected sex with someone who has HIV or if you have multiple partners. But PEP?  Only if you had a substantial risk should they give this as it is a pretty hard drug to take.  Perhaps they do get a bonus form getting people to take pep.  But you didn't need to from this exposure.
My emotions have been all over the place. As I mentioned when I left there I was told I had hiv.

I’ve been processing all of this while taking the medication. At this point I want to finish it and be done. But it’s so tough on my body! I appreciate you and this forum . I haven’t talked to anybody about this situation
That test is not accurate until 90 days/3 months after an exposure and PEP is given to prevent getting HIV and is not 'hiv treatment'.  I would not go back to that clinic again.

Wow, they gave you pep for that?  You either presented as so anxious they felt they wanted to appease you or they do not understand how HIV is transmitted.  HIV is really transmitted ONLY by having unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles.  Ejaculation going onto your shorts or on your rear near or even on your anus is not a risk.  Even if you had a cut there.  Transmission takes place inside he body.  Air inactivates the virus.  You didn't need pep.  You didn't need to test.  You had ZERO risk.  Whatever side effects you have, they are not related to HIV as you had no risk to GET HIV.
