risk from unknown cuts

Hi

Recently I have several cut wound on my body (lower neck/chest area, and right wrist). I do not know how and when they are caused. These cuts are 3-5 cm, look like scratch by some sort of sharp object, and the skin around them are red and broken. There are dry blood in these cuts, and when I touch them or wash them, they  can be prickling.

Since I don’t know the source of these cuts, I fear that what if they are caused by something with blood on it. Would that be risky?

Are there any cases are caused by random cuts/wounds in daily life? I swear to god I had not done sex nor drug. I just fear these random events so much, especially when they are related to blood.

Sorry if the question sounds silly. Thank you very much.

No, you cannot get HIV through everyday cuts and scrapes, no matter what.  Any wound that is not bleeding so profusely that you need medical attention is not a concern for HIV.

The only risks for HIV are listed in your previous thread, and that will not change: https://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/long-time-deep-french-kissing-handjob/show/3072069

Thank you CurfewX.  I think recently I am very paranoid about many things. I also fear the needle during the blood draw. Every time an event that is related to possibility of risk happens, my mind will fear so much and forcefully want to reset the window period.  This is very exhausting but I can’t help. Is this way of thinking normal among people who are afraid of HIV?  I think I need to get mental consultancy…
I can imagine that it is very exhausting to live with this kind of irrational fear.  If you have mental health services available, I would definitely suggest consulting with a therapist as soon as possible.  Starting therapy can help you move back to a normal life.
