She fingered me with bleeding finger while i had a hemorrhoids

Hi Sir,
Please help me with my question.

I had a body massage and ended up in the below situation.

I was suffering from a hemorrhoids couple of hours before massage. It's very frequent for me and when i checked i had a cut in both inside and outside of my anus. Skin was deeply broken, bleeding with fresh blood. However i went to a massage parlor and asked for a body massage.

Before the massage i did check her hands and she had a cut in her fore finger which was bleeding and she told me that it happened couple of minutes back. Just 2 minutes later she inserted her finger inside my anus and started stroking it. At one moment i felt the pain and asked her stop and when looked back her hand was covered with some blood and just squeezed her cut and blood came out. I immediately took a white towel and wiped my anus and i saw fresh bright blood in the towel.

My hemorrhoids were broken, wide open with inner layer of skin visible and bleeding. There would have been a definite contact of her fresh blood to my broken bleeding hemorrhoid for about 5 minutes where during all these 5 minutes her finger was inside my anus with her cut open and blood contact with my openly bleeding wound.

I asked to stop and left that place with panic. I have been panicking since then and not able to sleep. I cant take this off from my mind as i witnessed a blood from her cut that came in contact with my open hemorrhoids wound both internally and externally for prolonged duration of 5 minutes.

Could you please let me know if it's a risk and am also thinking of PEP and dont know what to do.

I am feeling shaky. Please help me

You don't need PEP. You didn't have a risk from this incident.

You are clearly exhibiting paranoia. It is your assumption that she is HIV positive, that information is totally in the grey.

Hypothetically if she was positive, your rectal tear was not deep enough to let the infected blood reach out to your nervous system. Also, there would've not been adequate amount of blood to cause any infection.

I would've been only worried if she had her finger chopped off that moment, it was bleeding profusely and yet she was inserting it in to your anus. Fortunately, that's not been the case. Therefore, there is nothing to worry.

Please see a counselor for getting rid of irrational fears. The problem starts from the point where you assume that she is HIV positive, your assumption is due to your own paranoia. HIV is not your concern, no testing necessary.

Dear sir agree with you that I have this fear and it’s due to the guilt. But every time I think it’s due to guilt but I still worried because I did see a blood in her finger which was there inside my anus for around 5 minutes and I did see a blood in the towel when I wiped it.
Once I came home I checked for tears around my anus and it was clearly visible with the red flesh shown. Fact is that the tear and cuts were present outside my anus and inside as well (around 2 cm inside the anus) . May I know why it’s not a risk when in case of unprotected anal sex it’s considered as a risk when blood comes in contact with rectal mucous layer?

May I know how it’s different and also, when her finger was inside the anus there was no exposure to outside as well.
I am going to copy and paste my response again for your reference, since it seems you haven't read my whole post.

"Hypothetically if she was positive, your rectal tear was not deep enough to let the infected blood reach out to your nervous system. Also, there would've not been adequate amount of blood to cause any infection."

"I would've been only worried if she had her finger chopped off that moment, it was bleeding profusely and yet she was inserting it in to your anus. Fortunately, that's not been the case. Therefore, there is nothing to worry. "

Please read my response carefully, rephrasing the same question again will not get you any different answer. You don't have HIV. There was no scope of transmission and your fears are due to your own assumption.

"She might be HIV positive" is an assumption, we can't do "what-ifs" here in this forum, there is a separate forum for that, this belongs to anxiety forum.  I am going to reiterate, there is no risk, you don't need to test.
Hi sir in order to assess my risk I assumed that the other person is hiv positive because I don’t know her status.
The other forum members in this forum have responded to my question that my risk is as same as receptive anal. I’m not sure what to do now? I still have 24 hours to consider PEP. Please guide me sir
This other member is a troll. You must not be worried of what he is saying.

We have offered you our point of view. Now it's at your discretion to take PEP or not. Ideally, this needs to be consulted with your doctor and not something that needs to be discussed in online forum.

Though, I will stand by my opinion of no risk and no testing necessary.
I am just re-stating what mike_no has said, which is NO RISK and no need for any testing.  Everyone else here will say exactly the same thing.
Thank you sir. One thing which still makes me confused is how my case is different from unprotected anal penetration except here this was a finger. Asking to just to be confirmed and be informed about it.

This answers all of your HIV questions, and if you can think of any more just reread about the 3. You had zero risk therefore  testing is irrelevant to your situation because you had zero risk. HIV is a fragile virus, which is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only 3 adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal with a penis
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex with a penis
3. sharing needles that you inject with.
The only way to get HIV is if you did one of the 3. The situation you describe is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. Doctors have calculated the risk from what you describe to be less than that of being hit by a meteor, therefore no one will get HIV from what you did in the next 40 years of your life either. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established, so no detail that you can add to your encounter will change it from zero risk.
This is an hiv prevention forum, and your situation is straightforward to move on, since you didn't do any of the 3. There is no need to try to turn this forum into a biology class for laymen or we will be here all month.

In other words, it is not necessary for you to believe in or understand the science that you had zero risk for it to be a fact.
Dear Sir,

I read through one of the following post in Doctor's forum where doctor states that the activity of fingering with blood present and the person who has hemorrhoids and/or anal fissure increases the risk where you assessed my situation as no risk.

https://medhelp.org/posts/STDs/precum-anus-and-HIV/show/246594

In my case since it was a lady who had a bleeding cut in her finger and she inserted the same finger in to my anus and stroked it for 30 seconds, I had an actively bleeding anal fissure does it put my risk under the above category of risky encounter?

I am losing my sleep over this. I did not take PEP as well and worried a lot now.

It's been 12 days since the exposure and i am having slight discomfort and throat pain and tired all the times.

Please help me if i have put myself in the risk.

The advice can't change, no matter how much googling for death you do.
No one got hiv from fingering,so your anxiety is a bit of a mental health problem at this point. See a therapist for that, because your problem is not disease, it is fear of disease and no one can solve that from here.

Those are 2 different scenarios. The doctor is recommending testing to a bisexual male who engages in anal sex, there are a lot of factors that they have to consider while advising, your situation is nothing related to it.

You can't acquire HIV through anal fingering, we have discussed this before and there is no point in fretting about this again.

Coming back to this forum and telling us that you didn't take PEP is unreasonable.

Firstly, you didn't need one because you had no risk.

Secondly, it was always told to you that PEP is a subject matter that need to be discussed with your doctor and not here on online forum.

You are still digging up posts from the archives of this forum shows that you are reading incessantly about HIV, this is unhealthy for your mind, please see a therapist for seeking help. Your symptoms are unrelated to HIV, you did not have a risk.
