Should I take PEP

I had a condom break which lead to unprotected sex. I was the insertive partner to a female who was in the end stages of menstration. Prior to vaginal sex, she gave a toothy oral sex that resulted in a bruise/cut ln the head of my penis.

I worry as she is promiscuous around the world (but not africa), though she claims to always make her partners use a condom for vaginal sex.  She does not do anal sex or drugs. She does not have partners wear a condom while providing oral sex on men. She claims to be HIV/STD free, but her status in unknown. She hasnt been tested in 4 months and has had sex with 15-30 men.

Should I take PEP, as i am within the 72 hour window?

Only a doctor, qualified in infectious diseases can recommend you PEP after a thorough assessment. Normally PEP is advised under high risk situation where one involved in unprotected sex with a confirmed HIV+ partner.

In your case, you are not sure about her status, therefore your risk is not that high, though not zero either.

Go get tested then. If it brings you clear of mind but if your not showing any signs I'm sure your fine. And i read oral sex you are less likely to get hiv. So just wait 3 months. I'm sure your fine. :)
