So I think I have HIV

I had unprotected vagina intercourse with a new partner on November 26th. He ejaculated into me twice, I have no reason to suspect that my partner has HIV but I’m experiencing a scatchy throat, muscle aches and soreness, as well as headaches. All of which started today, i also went in to get tested today to get a full std panel done. My doctor has reassuranced that the likely hood of having hiv is low, but I’ve done so much google searching about my symptoms that at this point I am positive that I have it.  I have really bad ocd and today I just feel somewhat sick. Too much of the time frame is adding up from my last sexual encounter which was in November. I’m really paranoid and I need help because I’ve started feeling suicidal.

I had the same symptoms recently with COVID. You know by now that the only answer is to test at the appropriate time.  We don't do hand-wringing and catastrophic ideation here.

I got tested today, but haven’t gotten the results. Waiting for results is quite anxiety inducing because I’ve researched so much on google that I’m convinced I have HIV
Reread Curfew's advice instead of continuing to post googling updates.

hiv docs can't diagnose hiv from symptoms, so no one here pays attention to them and you shouldn't either. Those ones you mentioned are common to negative people and might just be in your imagination from fear.
A duo test will be conclusive so take one asap since you are suffering so much with worry.
Has the other person tested?

You have a history of worrying about your status while at the same time being unwilling to test. You already had all the advice you needed from your other thread so I'm not sure why you think you need new advice today for the exact same problem.
Consider using a condom in future so you don't have to spend so much of your life worrying after each encounter. https://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/Should-I-get-tested-again/show/3064525
I reread and see that you have tested. You won't have to wait long for the answer, so try to avoid thinking about your body because the symptoms that you listed are somewhat mild which might mean you are just worrying and thinking you have a health problem. It is no wonder that you are very anxious, since there is no useful diagnostic in a google symptom search, so the massive amount of searching that you have done is guaranteed to make you feel anxious.
It’s just concerning because I’ve been losing sleep over this. I just feel like something awful is going to happen.
I also took my tempature and it’s 100.4 as well.

Maybe Covid, flu, etc. so all the time you have spent googling is a TOTAL WASTE.
