Steeping on needle at road and hiv confusion .

Today I was on a road with bathroom slippers in a market and i didn’t notice anything on road . But after shopping I noticed that there was a needle without syringe on road. I crossed that needle many times without notice. I don’t know whether it pricked my foot or not  but I didn’t feel any thing sharp or pain in my foot. No blood . Is it possible that it can hit my foot without notice ?  I read many think on this side  that needle poke and injection blood are totally different things . HIV can’t survive on needles at roads  etc . So can I say that I have no problem related to hiv regarding this moment. Sorry for poor english.

It's not possible to get poked by a needle and not feel it. Because it hurts! Go find a needle and poke yourself right now and you will see what I mean. Obviously you had no risk because you were not poked with anything.

This is not a realistic HIV concern.  First,  you would ABSOLUTELY have known if a needle had penetrated your foot.  Second, a small prick would not be a risk for HIV.  It would require that a needle, with a syringe, plunge into your foot sufficiently to hit a vein, and then the plunger would need to be pushed down.  This would hurt - A LOT - and would leave you in no doubt that you had been injured.

Forget about this event and anything like it.  Do not ever have unprotected anal or vaginal sex with someone who's HIV status you don't know, and do not share intravenous drug needles, and you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.
