Tasting blood while kissing

Hi I want to ask is it possible to get hiv by kissing and tasting blood? I kissed a girl yesterday and we both tasted blood. We both are not sure whose blood it was. We just kissed and did nothing else. Should i go for an hiv test?

That's not a risk for HIV.  The only way adults get HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles.  Air and saliva inactivate the virus. In all the history of HIV, no one has gotten it from kissing.  You do not need to test, zero risk.

Thanks for your quick response but I said that I tasted some blood. That is what making me worried. Is it still safe?
I answered your question and addressed that.  Kissing is ALWAYS safe.  Blood taste or bleeding in mouth does not affect the ZERO risk of HIV because saliva inactivates the virus.  What you describe is not a risk for HIV.
Thank you so much
