Test reliability

I read online that
■Fever
■Headache
■Sore throat
■Swollen lymph glands
■Rash

...are some of the first symptoms of infection.  My question is, I tested about 4-5 weeks after my last encounter (safe only) and the week after, I had the first three symptoms and was sick for a few days.  My test was negative, so my question is how reliable is that test?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Symptoms have nothing to do with test reliability. In your situation the test was 100% reliable since you didn't have a risk.
