The length of HIV affecting your WBC differentials

I am a very concerned woman.  46 years old.  In the Summer of 1998 almost ten years ago I had unknown unprotected sex with someone very questionable.  He took off his condom without me knowing, until after sex.
When he saw me looking at his skinny legs, he covered them up quickly.  Two weeks after I asked him if he had AIDS, he denied it, and asked if I did, I was tested the year before and I was negative.
In the winter I came down with a very bad cold or flu.  The following summer I came down with pharnygitis, and sinusitis and was hospitalized, I was given amoxicillan and I got better.
2003 I tested positive for Hep C, but there was no virus, my body fought it off where I didn't need any treatment.
They did a white blood count differential, and it was normal in 2003.  I was wondering how long does Hiv take to affect tej differentials.
I have been symptom free of any AIDS related symptoms.  It still wears heavy on my mind.

Very worried 46yr old

Hep-c is not passed through sexual activity (only in rare cases/rough sex, ect)it's a blood born illness. How did you contract hep-c? That same exposure could be the same avenue that puts  you @ risk for hiv infection. Did they test you back then for HIV as well? Symptoms are not generally an indicator of infection, i would test for HIV @ the 12 week mark after any sexual activity you have scince engagrd in if any. You should practice safe sex from now on with TRUSTED status partners in the future. This is the second post i've seen where a condom was removed during intercourse. The most importand thing to do is test out Solive22, good luck to you.

If you were this concerned, why didn't you have an HIV test done? Go get one done and quit worrying about it. There is no reason to worrying about something for that long of period.
