They put me on PEP

So I have been put on PEP by a doctor and I know its the first day but I feel really sick and wonder if I should be on it since it causes liver damage.

Basically I had sex and the the woman bought a condom 2 small. It was three inches to small and when I checked during sex it was hanging half off the end so I had only the end of my penis covered. Then I replaced the condom as I thought it might be broke but it maybe wasn't.

The same thing happened again. I went to the sex clinic as she was a sex worker in a bar. I was worried.

But since the head of my penis was covered throughout are they over reacting putting me on pep as she is a sex worker?.

I feel really sick and feel like puking up. I know it can do damage to your liver but the thought of having hiv scares me even more.

You had no risk. Only the head of your penis needs to be covered. Besides sw who use condoms are negative except if it fails, which is a big rip down the seam.
. The doc is a quack so don't see him again. Stop taking PEP.

If the head of your penis was covered during intercourse, you were not at risk for HIV.

I forgot to. MEntion that i had a spot. When i woke up there was a blood vessal bleed under the skin from the tight condom and her riding very hard.  This spot was not covered.

Is there any serious side effects to PEP?
HIV enters through the head of your penis.  Again, if the head of your penis was covered during intercourse, then it does not matter what details you add related to this event - it was NOT a risk for HIV.

Any medication, including PEP, can have serious side effects.
Thank you for your responce. I am going to throw away the PEP and do a test in 3 months.
