"Tired" condom

Hello,
Is it normal for a condom to look dry and a bit wrinkled after vaginal intercourse (without ejaculation)? I know the lack of lubrication can weaken the condom and if noticed I would replace it, but by the time it gets to this state is there a risk it might already have got damaged, despite no obvious tears or holes?
Many thanks.

It's entirely normal for a condom to look "a bit dry and wrinkled" on the penis when it's taken out of the vagina - especially if there's not enough lubrication and/or if the man's erection failed somewhat, or possibly after orgasm an erection can die relatively fast and leave the condom looking wrinkled on the penis.

You'd certainly be able to tell if a condom was broken or not by looking at it (yes the whole top part of the condom would be gone and the penis would stick out)

Hi nonbeliever, thanks for your reply to my post. So you mean the whole top part of the condom would be gone and the penis (not mine, I ain't got one ;)) would stick out? I didn't use any lube at all but it was one of these pre-lubricated condoms. Not enough lube I suppose? The bottom line is if the condom HAD failed I WOULD have noticed (although I wasn't the one wearing it) -right?

failed condoms look like a fringed hula hoop around the base of your penis, it doesnt just get a hole in it . and next time use water based lube, no oil base, that will destroy a condom

As long as it didn't fail you were never at risk. You would have know if the condom had failed. Not using water base lube is asking for condom failure.
