Unprotected sex. Possible symptoms. HIV RNA test.

Hello, I am a 28 year old male from India. A month ago, 10th of July, I had unprotected sex with an unknown girl. We both were drunk and we had unprotected sex for 10 minutes. First time in my life I had sex without any protection. After 3 days, I got mild fever (98 to 99F) which stayed for 22 days. With the fever, had upset stomach too and burning sensation in feet. Very mild pain, mainly, on the sides, near the kidneys and in the lower abdominal area. And diarrhoea. Everything mild. Never got on bed. Today it has been 34-35 days from the exposure. Fever gone after 21 days from the exposure but upset stomach is still there and diarrhoea too, but mild. From last week I started feeling head pain, sides of the head. (Temple area) it comes and goes but very mild. I started smoking heavily. I am a healthy male and run a big company. I am in total anxiety and fear. I made a plan to go to a remote island and spend whole life there if I diagnose with HIV. Now mistake is a mistake. I went for HIV RNA test at 28th day from the exposure which came back negative. I will take HIV duo after 60 days from the exposure. My RNA test is a hope?
I share almost nothing with anyone. I don't overreact too. But this time I am highly worried.

Thank you.

Hey, RNsexaddict. I know RNA test is very sensitive. But as one of the members here stated time frame for RNA. I took it at 28th day from the exposure. Some doctors and trained volunteers say, after 10 days from possible exposure RNA is 99% accurate. Some doctors say, its not. But everybody says, DUO is accurate after 28 days. So, did both.
Thanks for enlightening me, though. Have a good day.

Hello AnxiousNoMore and CurFewX. My HIV RNA PCR is Negative at 28th day from the exposure and DUO test after 40 days is Negative too. Still, symptoms are there. Upset stomach and feeling of loose motions. My doctor says it is related to Gastroenteritis and Stomach Virus/Flu. So, I am advising other folks out here that symptoms prove nothing. Ever since I got my Negative results, I stopped seeing half of the symptoms which were there beofre the test. It was all anxiety. If you are at risk go and get tested. These guy's answers are always logical and based on studies. Anyway, I am closing the thread here. God bless you guys.
Thanks.

Dr. Hook told me negative RNA test is definitive
read this...RNA doesn't give false negatives http://nccc.ucsf.edu/2016/06/24/case-of-the-month-false-positive-hiv-viral-loads/

That's not really the right test at the right time.  You SHOULD take a DUO test any time now.  That test will be conclusive now - it is considered conclusive at 28 days post-exposure.

No comment on the symptoms - everyone here thinks they have symptoms of HIV, and symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV.

Thank you for the answer. I will take the DUO test this week for sure. But could my Negative HIV RNA PCR result at 28th day be false at all? Somewhere I have read that if symptoms are there and related to HIV and HIV RNA PCR comes back negative, there is a probability that you have not acquired HIV, because HIV RNA test is highly sensitive. Is there a possibility that I can get away with this? Is there a hope?

Thanks.
Everyone posts here they have ARS but so far I have not seen anyone who did get HIV. There is lots of hope, so try to relax until the test.
