Unprotected sex w man from internet

Hello, so last august I had sex about twice lasting maybe five min or less each time, w a man I met on the internet w out protection very stupidly. I felt fine but since January have felt run down and had body aches and dizziness and constant flu like symptoms w sore throat. Im around sick kids all the time but im worried because I used to get a flu once a year now I have runny nose and sore throat all the time w the other mentioned symptoms. Are runny nose sore throat, dizziness and body aches symptoms of hiv?

Unprotected sex is one of the risks for HIV transmission. You did this twice? Having an unprotected vaginal sex exposure is a very low rate of risk, less than 1%. It is very doubtful that your symptoms are the result of HIV. And HIV is not diagnosed by symptoms. The only way HIV is diagnosed is through testing. If I were you, not because of the symptoms, but in general, I'd get an HIV test. Through a lab. They are pretty routine so don't get nervous about it or embarrassed. Your symptoms are that of a lot of things and again, HIV is never diagnosed because of cold/flu symptoms someone has. But take a test to be sure you are negative since you had unprotected vaginal.
