About hiv

I’ve read in my book that hiv can hide in your body for days then i googled and it said hiv can hide in your body for 10 years and develop to aids. In my book it also said using hiv positive person’s razor blade can give you hiv. Is this true?

Please throw that book in the garbage. I am not sure where did you get a book that is giving you such foolish information.

Below are the only risk for transmission:

1. Unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse.

2. Sharing needle with people who inject drugs.

No. This is inaccurate information and this was explained on your previous post.  HIV is not transmitted this way.  Air inactivates the virus.  HIV doesn't "hide in your body for days".  The ONLY ways that adults get HIV (as already explained) are from having unprotected vaginal or anal penetrating sex or sharing IV drug needles.  No, using a razor blade of someone with hiv would NOT transmit the disease, air is present.  Surfaces can not give you hiv.  I am sensing a lot of anxious thinking on your part.  Please focus on the ways that someone actually can get hiv, unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles and as long as you don't do that, you do not need to worry about hiv.

Can you tell me How long can someone have hiv and don’t show symptoms??
In your case, you can't have symptoms ever, since you don't have hiv.

There is no need to keep watching for symptoms because that is a lot of worrying for no purpose. The best thing you can do for yourself is to throw that book away and enjoy your life - perhaps a therapist can help you relax and go back to your normal life if you are still worried.
I agree.  Symptoms are not used for diagnosing hiv anyway, just risk and tests if you need one.  You can not get HIV from a razor.  Period.
