Vaginal secretions thoroughly massaged?

Doctor,

I have read in one of your recent posts that vaginal secretions must be thoroughly massaged onto the penis for HIV (or other STDs) to be transmitted,

I had a protected sexual encounter with a sex-worker in the dominican republic 48 days ago. However, I touched the inside of the tip of the condom with my fingers right after having put them inside my commercial partner's vagina.

Having worn and used the condom right away, does that count as "massaging" a potentially contaminated body fluid on the tip of my penis? Is there any risk of HIV transmission?

Thank you for your help and time
Alex.

What about when taking off the condom after sex and then touching your genitals after before washing your hands?

You asked a similar question in the HIV communty forum 2 years ago, and had a negative HIV test back then, and had an accurate reply about the zero-risk nature of the exposure.  The reply is the same this time.  Even with an HIV positive partner, nobody in the world ever caught HIV by fingering, regardless of nicks or cuts on the fingers; and the odds the stripper has HIV are low.

You could not have been infected and do not need HIV testing on account of this even.  Unless, of course, you don't believe this reassurance and need the additional evidence of a negative test to help you sleep better.  If so, have a test in a few weeks.  (This is not "code" that means I really think there was some risk.  There was none.)

In regards to that "vigorously massaged" thing...I'm confused because I posted to Dr. Hunter Handsfield on here once and he said that fingering does not transmit herpes, it's theoretically possible but not likely....  but what if I was fingered and it was really rough?  I keep worrying that I got herpes from someone fingering my roughly for a while.  I had been having problems with infections for a while but when this occurred I thought I was better.  Shortly after this occurrence I felt sore down there and I even got a cold and sore throat, but that could have been a coincidence from excessive drinking and lack of sleep?  The doctor didn't look at me but assumed it was another yeast infection and gave me medicine and I felt better but I didn't know if it was because of the medicine or if it was in fact an outbreak that just went away.  After the medicine was done, it came back and since then I have never been normal really...

I'm sorry to bother you again with my questions...

Are you sure I was not at risk? Even if some vaginal secretions were inside the tip of the condom before i put it on?

I went to see a doctor today.. and she said that my situation is like having unprotected intercourse! because the vaginal secretions have been "rubbed" against my penis

I'm so scared now!! Don't know what to believe anymore!!

Thank you for your quick reply.
I hope you are right, I'm going to get tested anyways for my mental well-being.

I read on your profile that you teach about HIV in colleges and schools, so I'm assuming you know what you are talking about.
I feel more relieved now.

Thank You, and good luck for everything you are doing. It is important.

I read that on the related discussion "Vaginal fluid on hand touched inside of condom..."
Link : http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/Vaginal-fluid-on-hand-touched-inside-of-condom-and-head-of-penis/show/1119533

"Because large amounts of the causative bacteria or viruses must have direct access to susceptible tissues, which typically are deep inside (gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, HBV, etc); or they must be massaged vigorously into susceptible tissues, often with microscopic trauma (syphilis, HSV, HPV)."

What do you think?
