Very Nervous about HIV Risk

On Oct 22 I had my girlfriend take an STD test. She took 4the gen rapid HIv test and was negative at oct 22.we began to have unprotected sex.
One month later, I have been sick for 10 +’days. Stiff neck dry mouth and diarrhea. It does not seem to be getting better. Stiff neck is still very present.

No swollen lymph nodes/ no fever/ no rash.

Is there a huge risk ? Should I be concerned ?

HIV does not spontaneously appear out of thin air. If she is HIV negative then there's no way you could be infected by her. The only way you would have a risk is if you were exposed to someone who is HIV positive.

Your girlfriend is not an unknown person or a risky individual.  She tested negative and as long as she hasn't cheated, that means she doesn't have HIV.  As Chima says, you can only get hiv from an HIV + partner.   People get sick all the time and it is that time of year where you see it happening more. If you have an ulcer on your lip, maybe you have herpes simplex 1 which is oral herpes.  About 80% of the population have it (including kids).  But I would not suspect HIV if in a monogamous relationship with a woman who recently tested.

And FYI, HIV is never diagnosed by symptoms.

Understood - thank you ! Okay last question.

For ARS- typically, do all symptoms come at once ?
Or symptoms continue to develop?

Doctors do not diagnose HIV from symptoms because every HIV symptom can be attributed to something else.  ARS is not immediate, no.  And again, your risk is nothing if she has tested negative for HIV.  If she hasn't had sex with anyone but you since, there is zero risk.
