Very concerned and need voice of reason

I couldn't find an exact question in the forums so i'm sorry if this is a repeat.

I went out last night and after having a few cocktails went to the ladies restroom.  Of course, I'm a bit of germ freak or I wouldn't be posting this. So, when I went into the stall, I scanned the toilet, which i normally do, and there was actually a dime size drop of what was surely menstrual blood at the very bottom of the toilet. At the time I wasn't all that alarmed, due to the cocktails no doubt, there were no other stalls available and instead of simply flushing the toilet, DUH, I couldn't hold my urine and I preceded to use the toilet, and of course, there was some back splashing that occured.  I'm kicking myself for failing to flush the toilet first, but at the time I wasn't worried for some reason. Now, after the fact, I'm becoming frightened and worried and need the facts. Also, side note: I am currenlty having my period too, and was wondering if that could pose a better fluid to fluid contact issue--but to be clear, that was not my blood in the bottom of the toilet, it was cearly there before hand.   Also, I have a history of herpes, and I don't always know if I am having an recurrence because it's usually very minor, I felt like i could be experiencing a outbreak last night but I am not entirely sure.  Just to complicate matters....sigh
