It's hard to say. But, you are playing "what ifs". VERY, VERY unlikely that it would have happened in that manner. Most, if not ALL those knowledgeable in HIV transmission would consider this "encounter" no risk.
You asked how to wipe away "incessant fears". There is only one way, go see a qualified mental health professional.
Yes, you are right, it was a small office pin. What if it pricked me a minute after pricking someone who is positive ? In that case will it still be a NO risk situation ? Secondly, how do I wipe away these incessant fears away from my head ? Please advise my good friend..
Any needle that would of pricked you, if that was what it was. Was probably a sewing needle type needle. These needles are solid, ie not hollow like IV needles. The HIV virus(if present) would have deactivated shortly after coming in contact with the environment. It simply doesn't happen. Move on.
My Friend,Could you please explain the reason for your answer. Although I admit that I have been having irrational fears of contracting HIV, how do I get help ? How do I help myself? Please take the replies one after the other. Thanks A lot as I expect your professional answer.
Seriously? You should apologize for leaving early and then get some psychological help for irrational fears. You had absolutely NO risk of acquiring HIV from this "encounter".l
Please is someone there ? Your response will do a lot of good.
