White tongue or oral thrush?

I found a picture of how my tongue looks. I for as long as i can remember have had circumvallate papillae. In the picture I found, the circumvallate papillae are a little bit bigger than my own, but i noticed that there is also the presence of white hair toward the back near the enlarged circumvallate papillae. Does this seem normal. Also my tongue/throat feels like there is a lump/very dry. I have also been smoking for two years. Does anyone with large circumvallate  papillae also have the presence of white hair near the back of the tongue where the circumvallate papillae are present? Does this look like oral thrush. I am still wating on my doctors appointment in two days, and i just wanted some opinions

here is the link to the picture

Your tongue is not an HIV concern. You don't have HIV.

I am  so sorry, I was in a rush to type this out. I had unprotected oral sex (my performing on a boyfriend, which i swallowed) about 3 years ago. I was tested probably about 3 months afterwards for a free hiv testing at my university, and i tested negative. I not sure if this tongue condition has alway been presnt, but I just noticed it recently. I researched a little bit, and noticed that a change in the tongue, can relate to oral thrush. I know oral thrush occurs for many different reasons, but one of the reasons my be from HIV. I looked at pictures of oral thrush, many of which do not look like mine. I wanted to know if people looking at this picture who have perhaps had oral thrush had a tongue that looked the same or if the picture is just kind of normal. I am going to the doctor on wednesday for an appointment. Looking at my tongue has given me some reason for conern. I just wanted some opinions :(

i'm not sure what you are asking.  no one here is qualified to answer questions about your tongue and mouth...only your doctor can do that.

this is your second post...but you have failed to mention whether or not you've had a possible hiv exposure...and this is a hiv forum.
