Worried!

Stupidly and idiotically had unprotected sex with a hooker on the 5th of jan 2014. Such a innocent mistake and for some reason due to the fact that i was ridiculously horny the sti and hiv infections never came into my head i promise you. If it did i would of turnded back instantly and never done it. This was my first time having sex bytheway. (Unprotected and protected). That night i was frantically searching around for any bumps or spots and found nothing and so was at ease. Then suddenly just before i went to bed i found a swollen lymph node in my groin! Which made me sweat instantaneously didnt sleep the whole night. The next 3 days i didnt have much of an appetite not sure whether this was due to aniexty or the hiv virus. However i was reading whether it was actually possible to develop a swollen lymp node a day after infection... apparently symptons cannot appear that quickly. Then one week afterwards things were sort of back to normal i just ate normally and wasnt nervous, partly due to the fact that i confined in my brother and he told not too worry. However always during the evenings i would look for anything that may be wrong with me and linked to hiv, as soon as i thought i found something for example a little ulcer in my mouth or a little white tiny crack in my toe my stomach would turn completley i would not feel hungry my stomach would hurt, i believe this is due to aniexty as prior to this i had zero stomach issues. Fast foward to today the 1st of feb my lymph node has effectivley entirley gone down and basically now looks like a spot. However then what got me worried the most was i noticed a few dark lines running across my nails vertically. I then googled it and it said this is a sign of hiv. However i then saw my mums hands and she had the same, however shes 60. Now i know hiv makes you succestable to viruses or it may be aids im not sure, but surely i cannot develop black lines in finger nails which indiciate mealonoma cancer so quickly. I must add that on the 29th jan i went to the sex clinic and got tested (urine and blood) and she (doctor) did a semi kind of check up and felt my lymph node and she said it was nothing and probably a ingrown hair however she didnt look too interested in my problem. (Still awaiting test results)  Anyway ive not had any fever rash or diahrea . As i said at the beginning of the exposure and in the evenings whenever i "come across another sympton" are the only times i felt nausious ( feeling like vomitting) apart from that my appetite is as usual. I dont have any weight loss either. Also i want to add that when i was looking for the hiv symptons the nail changes where ones that come during late stage.Does one month in hiv count as late stage? Lastly i want to add ive had tingling and neck pains randomly but no swollen lymph nodes. Im terrified to be honest with you. Ive contemplated sucide at least 6 to 7 times a day. Im only 18 years old and i made a stupid mistake. The person i slept with insisits she is clean and apparently she had a baby who also is free from hiv but i struggle to believe her. And im not sure whether if i never found that lump on the very first day of infection whether id actually be so anixous and nervous, i have a feeling i wouldnt have. I even went to the gp who said he thinks its nothing but he referred me to a sex clinic anyway. Im so scared can somebody please anwser all the questions on here and tell me whether they think I may have got hiv.

Because even with an actual exposure, there is no "guarantee" one will become infected.  Conditions have to be basically perfect for transmission to occur.  There have been people with multiple repeated high risk exposures to an HIV infected person who has never gotten infected, and then there are people who have been exposed once to an infected person and got infected (although a one time exposure leading to infection is rare).

Nothing with HIV risks is a sure thing either way.

come someone explain to me why that doctor named hunter says even if the person was hiv infected the chances of obtaining hiv is 1 in a 1000. Surely if someone is postive once the fluids enter your urther through unprotected sex then you have HIV

Quick question. I have a Black Line vertically across my nails. Apparently its a nail fungus infection however it occured like 3 weeks after i had the exposure. My question is can you get nail fungual infection this early if you did have HIV. Because most peoplem say its either later stage hiv infection ( years) and or Aids.

You've been advised multiple times that we don't discuss symptoms.

But I mean ars is it usually just diarrhea or a combo of many symptons? Also people say if u have ars it doesn't develop more than 4 weeks after exposure

You'll only know if you test positive at 3 months. ARS isn't diagnosed until a person tests positive and confirmed HIV positive.
