aids??

hi,, my story in brief is: i used my hands to help a man that was masterbating, i moved his organ back and forth several times then he ejaculated, some of his semen came on contact with my hand and fingers, then he did so with me, he used his hand on my organ then i ejaculated, do i have risk to have aids if he was hiv posetive?? this happened before 18 days and am now terrified bcoz am having sore throat since yesterday

i want to ask another question plz,,
if i get tested today how long it will take to have the results back?? tomorrow or they take longer time?? and which test is faster? the ELISA or PCR??

NOOOOOOOOOOO ! ! !  DID YOU READ WHAT I SAID?  TRANSMISSION TAKES PLACE INSIDE THE VAGINA / ANUS...NOT FROM HIM TOUCHING YOU WITH SEMEN ON HIS HANDS.

YOU HAD NO RISK.

kindly move on...

thnx lizzie for the reply  but i read that in all forums, but now i was wondering that if he had some semen from him on his hands when he started to give me the hand job, is it possible that his semen come into my urethra and cause HIV??

sexually speaking...hiv transmission takes place INSIDE the body...as in a penis being INSIDE a vagina / anus.

transmission does not occur from mutual masturbation...it does NOT happen in that manner.

I guess its the guilt which is fueling your anxiety. Please know that HIV virus does not survive in open air. Assuming the other person was HIV +  and assuming he had some semen on his hand when he gave you a hand job, the HIV virus in his semen wouldn't have survived once it was out in open air. It doesn't matter if his semen came into ur urethra. Here we have made two assumption and even if both our assumptions are true, you had absolutely no risk.
When Teak said, "YOU NEVER HAD A RISK. THERE IS NO REASON TO DISCUSS TESTS.", I guess you should listen to him.
To answer your question, PCR test will take anywhere from 4 days to a week. It is a very complicated test and the chances of false positive is high. Not to mention, its quite expensive. If you get a false positive (which happens a lot of time), you are gonna freak yourself out.
ELISA test is simple and you should get your results in a day .
You do not need any test. Move on!

You never had a risk of contracting HIV and don't need testing.
