You don't need a test.....you've been around here long enough to know the testing protocols. A DUO at 4 weeks is definitive.
ok, thank you for your reply, one last thing now, it is been almost 6 weeks now, if i get combo test at 6 weeks, is it conclusive?? or the CDC is still saying only 3 months is definitive?
The second needle (the one that punctures the tube) is attached to the needle that punctures the skin, the whole double needle piece screws into the vacutainer. There is no possible way one would be reused and one would be new.
Irrational thinking. You really should make that professional help a priority.
it was not the vacuum container, it was the needle that screws the vacuum container, is it a risk? as i said they use two needles not one needle
thank you, i know that the vacuum container are reusable, but what worries me is the blood transfer device, they don't use only one needle that has two sharp eds, they two needles, one needle penetrate my skin and the other needle screws the vacuum, what if the other part of the needle was reused? i will seek help soon, but just want to calm myself now because i am traveling
You're talking about a vacutainer, they're reused all the time, there is no HIV risk whatsoever.
You still are exhibiting irrational fears about HIV...have you sought help yet?
they get a needle and screw it in the blood transfer device, so if they did not change the blood transfer device, am i at risk this way? and i saw the blood vacuum holder has some things in it, but i know this is not a risk, is the blood transfer device a risk?
