cat dig & blood

my cat happend to poke his claw into my thumb 2 days ago, but very little blood and the hole was small. today i went out of my gate which has a steal lock and i thought i felt something wet, but i did not see any blood. is this a risk to my thumb, would it of healed in 2 days? the last person to open the gate was about 30 mins after i used it.

This really falls under OCD and limited knowledge of HIV / AIDS, you will find it that incidental exposure rarely result in transmission-and by rare i mean almost never. Especially in the scenario mentioned, so feel at ease and try to learn the real routes & means of transmission in regards to HIV / AIDS. The virus does not lurk on door knobs and gates, ect, we all have it, this is why you never hear about people contracting like this.
