electric shaver

Hi...2 weeks ago  (31/1/13), I went for a haircut to a new saloon. After the haircut, the barber trimmed my sideburns and neck hair with an electric shaver (usually they use foldable razors with a disposable blade which is changed in front of the customer).

Since electric shavers have fixed blades,i asked him whether he had cleaned/sterilized the shaver before using it on me..to which he replied in the negative saying that his "sterilizer" wasn't working but i shouldn't worry as electric shavers generally do not cut skin (i could see no visible bleeding on my neck and face) and the shaver was unused for an hour. However it may have squished a pimple or 2...Im not very sure.

I freaked out  and went to get a hiv/hepb/hepc test done later that evening (I know it makes no sense because of the window period). I also consulted with my family physician who asked me to stop worrying but go to my regular barber from now on.

I need your opinion on this....I know I sound irrational but based on what i described...do i need to re-test?.. In the last ten days, a canker sore has appeared below my tongue, I feel a bit fatigued and lastly some hemmroid/anal ulceration has suddenly appeared...i wonder why this had to come now???

I am aware that this is considered low risk for HIV and maybe even HCV but HBV can easily spread this way....pls do reply.

Regards
