folliculitis

Ok so here is my story.  I have only had sex with one girl my whole life, she has had previous partners though.  I contracted genital herpes from her even though she has never had symptoms.  Apparently she had a false negative herpes blood test, every other std came back negative for her as well, including hiv.  After I had symptoms of herpes, I had a complete std screening.  This was 2 months and 1 week after the last exposure with her.  As expected I had a positive result for hsv 2 but everything else was negative including hiv.  The thing that worries me is if the herpes test could produce a false negative, could our hiv test results have been false negatives? How common is this?
Also how conclusive was my hiv test 2 months and 1 week post exposure?
Finally, lately I have been getting infected follicules on my thigh areas.  At first I inspected it was from sweating a lot while playing drums, but they keep recurring a little bit. They heal quickly but leave a red mark.
I know hiv has no specific symptoms, but I was wondering if anyone could speculate on my chances of having hiv.
I will admit that I am somewhat of a hypochondriac so when I started having this folliculitis and read posts correlating it with hiv, I began to think the worst.
Thanks

Yes that is correct, but that is a very negative way of looking at the situation, I would not make a correlation between HIV and skin infections simply because symptoms are not an effective way of identifying HIV

So pretty much those percentages mean that there is about a 1-2% chance that my test could have been a false negative?
Is there a strong correlation between hiv and recurring folliculitis?

I know it only takes 1 time to get it, but the sex we had about 9 weeks before I was tested was the first time we did it in months.  The last time we had unprotected sex before that was probably 5 to 6 months prior, and we used to do it quite a bit the previous year, and she was definitly faithful to me the whole year and half we dated. So I would think that if i was to contract it, I would have a lot sooner.
Also, do you have any info on the accuracy of these tests? Someone told me that at 9 weeks post exposure the test was about 95% accurate.
Are false negatives common? Is there any correlation with the folliculitis?
Sorry I know I have a lot of questions but my mind is running and scanning the internet isnt helping...

Chances are very low, however you do need to test at 12weeks (3months) to get a conclusive result, however chances of an 8 week negative changing is very very low, so don't stress
