Thrush is just thrush... A yeast infection. Not related to oral.
You do not have hiv and we're never at risk from getting hiv.
Dr's forum is not open, it is closed for internal review.
i dont have a risk but my doctor diagnoed trushes in my mouth 4 month after the negative 12 week result.im so scared.is that a symptom for hiv or not in your opinion.im thinking and thnking if my test result is false negative.what dou you think and how can i get comments from doctors here could you help me.the doctors are they able to see my subscription or not.
You only had oral sex? Then no risk.
nikchin i have some questions to you
ihave a negative test after 10 weeks and 12 weeks.
4 months after the test results i have an pharangytis.could this be a hiv symptom or not in your opinion.
thanks for your answers.
what is with typically hiv symptoms after 10 weeks and 12 weeks for example.
if someone has an hiv negative test after 10 weeks and then he has typicallly hiv symptoms would you take the symptoms serious or not.
Well answered. I agree with his answer.
I thought you said 10 weeks? What is this 2 weeks stuff? And here's the deal... Heterosexual sex (no matter if the person is infected with HIV) is consdered low risk especially when a condom is worn. Without a condom your risk is 1 in a 1,000. That does mean there's a chance you could get infected after just one episode. But there's usually other contributing factors e.g not wearing a condom, having other STDs (especially genital herpes, chlamydia, Gonorrhea, etc).
Taking an antibody test at 2 weeks doesn't truly say much. Only that you weren't infected 3 months prior. Now, taking an antigen/antibody test is a little more uplifting. Because the 4th Generation (antigen/antibody) tests can actually pick up infection at 2 weeks. But that doesn't mean it's conclusive at 2 weeks. At 2 weeks its highly encouraging. 4 weeks it is Highly likely to exclude HIV.
And if you took an antigen/antibody test at 10 weeks and it was negative then you're considered conclusively negative. Most likely whatever symptoms, or fears you have will fade. At least, they should!
a doctor said to me that a hiv antybodytest is not safe after 12 weeks.he said i sould make 12 weeks later an hiv test again.why he said this to me nichin.i thought when people tested negative after 2 weeks its safe.why i should testing again ?
Its safe passive or active, with or without condom, oral sex is not a risk for HIV.
only blowjob with condom (prostitute)
nickchin what would you say about passive OV with condom. (prostitute)
is it safe such an act.
I did my best to help you. I certainly cannot answer based on percentages, sorry.
ok we can say such a test isnt safe after 14 days,
could we say such a test is after 14 after the risky contact is to 6 or 70 percent safe.what would your percentag be.
The test you mentioned is done strictly and only after 4 weeks of initial exposure. Its the window period for that test.
Thanks, how safe is a p24antygen/antybody after 2 weeks in your opinion.
regards
Hi,
Your test results are conclusive and you have successfully tested negative for HIV. Dont worry further.
