No. HIV tests will only detect HIV, Herpes will only detect Herpes. There is no cross contamination for blood test detection. Hope that helps. All the best.
ok thanks. this is my last question
does herpes antibodies crossreact with hiv antibodies?
a simple yes or no would be helpful
i will not ask further
When I say Anal fissures have got nothing to do with HIV, I mean they are do not appear because of HIV infection but its very very risky for people having unprotected anal sex while the anal fissures are active and bleeding.
HIV test is conclusive. Herpes questions post in that forum
1) Your test is conclusive. Every test is designed to detect respective infections. They simply cannot detect out of box infections for which they are not designed.
2) Yes.Your test for HIV is conclusive.
3) Anal fissure is common in sexually active men who bottom or are the receiver of the insertion organ. The anal canal is not meant for intercourse and is torn easily when sexual organ/toys are inserted. The anal walls are not expandable/flexible like vaginal walls. Anal fissures has got nothing to do with HIV infection.
