hiv antibody test

hi i had an unprotected  sex 6 months ago,,and i had symptoms like swollen gland, rash on my body..and i had done my p24 antigen test 4 months ago,,and hiv antibody test a week ago,,,they both are negative,,,so what should it mean?

No, not any test is conclusive at 3 months. Any antibody test is conclusive at 3 months.

Your hiv negative.Stop worrying and forget about this.Your antibody test result after 4 months is conclusive,your negative.Your having chest pains because your stressing for nothing.Your safe.The above answerer in the first part of his answer has given you the wrong information,you don,t need to re-test.

The OP had an antibody test a week ago.He doesn,t require re-testing.His result is conclusive.

You need to retest with the proper test. P24 tests are only good from the 1-4 week post infection.

It means that your hiv negative and no further testing is required.
