How well does HIV survive outside the body? i mean how many seconds deos hiv virus will survive in air?especiaaly for iv drug user when they share.

for example if i am hiv pos,and i insert needle into my body and blood and i take it out after how many seconds the virus on needle will die and become inactive and if somebody else use d needle he won,t catch hiv and finaly the main q that

1st Dr's can't reuse needles, it is impossible
2nd why would a Dr reuse a needle
3rd this is a very irrational thought that I would suggest seeing a therapist because this is not a normal thought to have,.

no i am not iv drug user.but i want to know how long does hiv virus survive on needle in air,cause i went to doctor and he gave me injection for my fever,but i am not sure he changed d syrange or not?

HIV when transfered during IV drug use is not exposed to air.
