Thanks and good luck to you guys.....
That person is no longer on this forum.
Hi, If you dont mind could I get the name of the annonymous testing center in Dubai. I had a exposure risk with a Girl with unknown status.
Had a 4 week test at an STD center in Dubai, where they said they would keep me annonymous.
Had a negative result and will take a full screening for all STDs at the three month mark. Nevertheless, just wanted to know the name of the test center you were referring to.
I'd be glad to know the location of anonymous testing center... Thanks everyone..
You can test in Dubai there are anonymous testing centres you don't need to give your name, passport or residents card.
If you want I can send you the names of these via PM. You need to test, statistics are fairly irrelevant in my opinion. You had a risk you need to test whether that be in Dubai or outside of Dubai.
you need to test for hiv, at earliest 6 weeks for indication of status and 3 months is conclusive
guessing is not the way to know the status, ofcourse you know that
yes, chances from condom broke exposure is considered little chance, but risk is risk
You want to know your status then you test.
Thanks for ur reply,
I can't do the test here coz if it comes positive then I will be deported from dubai forever. I have to go back to my country for the test. Is it really necessary?
And according to san francisco health center chances are only 0.06%.
I don't agree with statistics so I will not comment on that. If the person has HIV and yu have unprotected anal or vaginal sex with them then you have had a risk.
You do not know when during intercourse your condom broke. I agree with the post from getitright, you need to get tested. In Dubai they can do the HIV Duo but I believe they call it the combo, there are a couple of places this can be done there. It costs approx 900 dirham, you can get this done at 28 days post exposure.
Thank you very much for your reply sir,
One last question sir,
I've been researching on d net & reports say dat hiv is nt easily transferable. I've also rd dat d chances of it being transferred in just one instance r 0.06%
Thanks in advance
Look, you had what is commonly known as condom failure and require testing for hiv.Yes,sex workers do often get tested and the majority are hiv free which is in your favour in this particular situation, however get tested to make sure your safe.At 6 weeks you can test and receive an excellent indication as to your status. All the best.
