i want to clarify one thing...
The timing my symptom came (swelling of lymph node) ... it was confirmed by a Dr.

and the timing of the tests taken.... .. so if my Symptom was due to HIV (ARS) .. wudnt my tests have been positive??

and why did the people at SRL Ranbaxy (Mumbai) where i got my tests done.. (i stay outside mumbai- so the sample was sent there by their collection centre here in my city) ask for a FRESH BLOOD  SAMPLE ...cud it be becoz i had a weak positive band? or anything else?was i seroconverting? pls its getting me tensed.... as i have had tests there before and nothing like this has happened before...

and also ... abt vaginal fluid... some people say that the virus is present in the cervix ... and the fluid that comes out and No/very less virus in it... is it true? once the virus is out in the air... can it infect?
pls answer pls... i beg all of u as i will be taking the 6 weeks elisa test in 5 days time...

If you live in INDIA which it seems like, don't worry if they ask u fro fresh blood,all that means is that they like to ensure they do the test again. Because they had lab error or cross contamination.

Have you been checked for Other than HIV, such as CMV, HHV 6, HTLV, Herpes 1,2,6,7,8. Cosaki virus , Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma. SCMV.

In other words, they are many things that can cause symptoms.

Let me tell u something, if you want ur symptoms to be gone while you are within your window period.

Do this, release stress from your hydro gland. Enjoy life, forget about this, Don't come back to the board unless you will help answering question.

why wud they confirm a non reactive sample?

i have had tests at the same lab before..and had negative tests for my other exposure...not once did they ask for a fresh sample.

So, no, U dont have HIV if you already had a neg, trust me.

i went to massage parlour in H.Kong on 23aug07.i had my back towards her as she massaged me with oil for 20 min.she asked me if i want a handjob & i agreed & turned & she shagged me for 3 secs and applied oil then shagged me till i came.i feel that she may have inserted her finger in her vagina while she was massaging my back.cud she have had vaginal secretion in her finger when she shagged me?able to infect me?(i did not have any bleeding cuts on my penis)while she was massaging my back she touched my balls a couple of times,what if she had vaginal secretion in her finger?NOW on 29Aug i felt a pea sized lump under my left arm,pained when i touched it so i left it as it was,after a week it went back.I came back to India & again after 10 days(11th Sept)that pea sized lump came back(same place underarm left hand)it was there for 5-6 days & went back again pained,i took medicines for it (dunno if it went becoz of the medicines)
Tests taken - Hiv Duo(p24+Antibody) at 15 days post exposure - negative.
One more Hiv Duo(P24+Antibody)at 27 days post exposure - negative
i actually had a test 25 days post exposure and my blood sample was sent to Ranbaxy in Mumbai to test it took 2 days and i was told that they needed a FRESH BLOOD SAMPLE to RECONFIRM THE RESULT i was scared & another blood sample was taken on the 27th day and sent again i got the result the next day it was NEGATIVE.
23rd Sept there were 2 pea sized lump under the same hand it pained again and is still there.I went to a doctor  he said that its a swollen lymph node & is common in this area(underarm) he gave me a medicine.I presently have 3 pea sized lumps under my left arm which pain when i touch it,one is almost dissolved but 2 are still there.
Do i need more tests?

I truly believe you are fine.  I am scared too and in a similar situation as you.  Tyr to stay calm for 5 days and then take your test.  It will surely be negative.  I keep trying to tell myself, that the continuous stress is probably doing more harm to my body then anything else.  Negative or Positve *you are def. negative) the stress is no good, as stress lowers the immune system as well.  Be strong and best of luck with the test (although you won't need it).  God bless.
