Oral sex won't expose you to HIV risk in any case, but you might want to see whether you had other STD risks, and for that there's a separate forum here on MedHelp.

Your 3 month post exposure test will be conclusive.

Not sure about the effectivity at that period, but just let it at 3 months post-exposure for a certainty and so that you don't waste your money. Btw, what was your HIV exposure?

i guess that it needs that 3 month is conclusive but many people also say that antibodes if they are maybe detected after 4 weeks so i know first genreation and 3 generation their is small difference in time  but still what is your idea even first generation test could detect at after 35 days if they were?

i hope that still 35 day negative is favour to me dont you?

There are no tests marketed or sold to give a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months.

This forum goes by the manufactures approvals by the FDA. Greece doesn't have any tests approved to give a conclusive test result earlier than 3 months let alone two weeks.

By American standard any approved test should be performed at 3 months post-exposure for a conclusive result.

I ve just called now the Hiv office in Athens and they told me that an 8 weeks test is conclusive. I told them about the 3 months test conclusive period  and the doctor told me thats an old practice. 2 weeks is conclusive. In any case follow the guidelines of your doctor. Not mine. I just want to refer the situation in Greece.

The Greek Ministry of Health said that an Elisa test until 2 months post exposure is conclusive. The same view has the Greek phone-line for HIV! However as i read CDC says that a 3 month test in conclusive.

No test result is 100% reliable until 3 months post-exposure.ARS symptoms last between 4 days and 2 weeks generally.I have to ask-What exposure do you think you had?

Why dont you ask the Health Authorities in your country as fas as concern the generation of the test used in Armenia. In Greece for example 2 two months is conclusive.
