razor cut and hiv

so i’ve read from a few threads that it is impossible to acquire hiv through razor cuts(barbers specifically) ,superficial cuts,  and some sites say Any kind of cut using an unsterilized object, such as a razor or knife, can transmit HIV. Sharing razors is not advisable unless they are fully sterilized after each use.

so im a little confused knowing that unaids should be trusted regarding this issue and not cause any mass hysteria among people. could the statement be erroneous? i know for a fact that the virus does not live long on surfaces

but im a bit worried about going to barbershops now.

Since no one has acquired hiv in that way despite 1 trillion haircuts, cuts etc.  in the last 40 years since hiv was discovered, their claim of theoretical risk is not interesting. We rely on the advice of expert doctors and since hiv science is 40 years old it is well established  so we don't pay attention to sites that  posters locate otherwise we will be here all day.
You have read the advice on this site, and it can't change so there is nothing more to say.
I hope you are able to stop worrying that barber shops are potential hiv transmission vectors, because that isn't the only place you will be cut in the next 40 years of your life. There are a lot more health risks in this world that can actually happen so it is best to not worry about theoreticals that haven't manifested in 40 years.

im a bit paranoid since it came from UNAIDS.org

they should be a reliable website after all
They are describing hypothetical risks.  The fact is that NO ONE gets infected this way, in reality.  It's time to put this behind you and move on.
