risk assessment after contact with contaminated water

hi, just wondered if you can help me as I'm stuck in a rutt!
i went to a friends house last night where it turned into a sex party, they were all using meth via injecting, i left the room when this was happening.
i was out for a good 20 mins and when i came in the host was asking who wanted drinks etc. i was side tracked on my phone for quiet a while when i had finished there was a cup on the floor so i thought it was mine so i went to drink it but straight away i pulled back after tasting it because it was water not alcohol, one of the guys claimed the cup as theres and i passed it to him.
a couple hours later i saw the same guy then get a syringe to suck up water for his drugs, i asked him if he did that with the cup i had earlier and he said yes, i also now know that he is hiv positive.
is it possible that i can get hiv this way? he actually re-used the same needle and syringe so I'm thinking if there was blood on the needle could it affect me? he also told me that they use hot water for this drug and the water i tasted wasn't warm so I'm not sure how long it had been there for
please help

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

oh right, thanks for the information, read and noted!!! 1 more thing before i get out your hair, i also had intercourse protected (me being the top) when finished the condom was intact however when i took the condom off i noticed a redness at the bottom of my finger next to the thumb exactly on the groove line before it becomes the palm about 1cm
i checked it 101 times and its not open nor was it bleeding, i think the top layer of the skin may have caught on something but its very sore to touch, so in this instance does it count as what you say above, because i was a little worried about anal mucous coming into contact with it (if it did) when taking the condom off and I've seen a lot of conflicting stories about this one hence i contacted the professionals
and now i draw to a close, thank you so much for all your help TEAK
