risk of hiv infection after being pricked several times by lancet on my leg

today i just visited a traditional bone and muscle "expert" in my country due to hurting in my leg, after doing some massage on my left leg, what i am unaware is this guy, prick my leg with lancet pin several time in order to draw some blood, i was pretty shocked and quickly ask him to stop, and after that my leg was bleeding about 3 to 4 ml. and i immediately ask him about the lancet was it new? he quickly answered yes it is new, don't worry.

but i just can't get myself out of this, i keep thinking does my situation have hiv risk? i just could not find exact answer about this..

i keep wondering how long if ( God forbid ) the lancet was used before, can the viruses stay infectious after several minutes ( let's say about 3 minutes ) because if it was used before it may have tiny amount of blood in the lancet's pin

what if the lancet was used before ( although he said it was new ), do i have to take an antibody test for this after 3 months?

please help me. Thanks anyway

HIV loses its ability to infect almost immediately after being exposed to air; thus, any blood that could have been on the lancet would have been non-infectious.  Also, HIV must enter the bloodstream, which doesn’t happen via superficial cuts or scrapes, such as those created by a lancet.   The ONLY needles that are of concern are those with a syringe attached (creating a vacuum) used to inject blood or fluid into your veins.

Additionally, it is extraordinarily unlikely that someone would re-used a lancet - but this doesn't matter as it is not a risk for HIV, no matter what.
