Thank you, I really appreciate your answers. One last question thought just so I can clear up all my misunderstandings, if you don't mind. How does one contract HIV through sharing needles? Is that because within the needle is airtight so the blood isn't exposed before being injected into the other individual?

Thank you @LIZZIE LOU...I guess I just misunderstand the ways HIV can be transmitted...I always thought if someone else's infected blood was entering your bloodstream there was always the chance.
hiv is not transmitted from inanimate objects
No there is not a risk of contracting HIV in that manner.
