hello,

i had an unprotected sexual intercourse in italy 16 days ago, i am gay, and i was active.
i don't know the status of the other guy.
i started PEP after 56 hours.
i had a test after 15 days of the exposure : V.D.R.L. RPR, T.P.H.A, HIV Combi PT, ANTIGENE HBs, ANTICORPS ANTI-HBc TOTAUX (IgG + IgM), SEROLOGIE DE L'HEPATITE C, all negative;  ANTICORPS ANTI-HBs : Inf. à 2 UI/l ; PROTEINE C-REACTIVE : 0.6.
i have 2 questions :
1. how accurate are these results, i've been told that this test is 80% reliable after 15 days, and to be conclusive the test should be taken agan after 6 weeks; is that true?
2. can PEP affect my results, and postpone my window period? since i will be taking PEP for 30 days, will i get false negative because of that? and my doctor asked me to do test after 15 days, 3 weeks and 6 weeks from the actual exposure, so he didn't take into consideration the PEP effect.

Yes it is advised to take a test 28 days (DUO) after PEP and/or 8 weeks after PEP.
