triad of symptoms

Hi, The NAT (National Aids Trust) states that the majority of people presenting with actual ARS will have triad of symptoms at the same time (severe sore throat, severe fever and rash). If you only present with the sore throat after a risk is it likely that you arnt going through ARS ? Thanks

Thanks 77 & Teak, i do know this and have never had an unprotected or broken condom in 10 years. I just seem to have worried about this exposure due to the extreme sore throat and didnt really know whether i had had the fever or not - i suppose you would remember it ?. No need to test I know. Thanks

Protected sex is safe sex and reading rubbish on the internet will make matters worse. You don't need to worry about your sore throat because it has nothing to do with your encounters. All the best.

The answer to my risk will be that there is no risk - had protected sex with many csw all over the world over 10 years and never worried, but now after sex with chinese escort recently now had severe sore throat at day 16 fot a week, mild headache 3 days and no fever - but for some reason now getting worried.

Symptoms or lack of symptoms will never tell you your status. The only way to know your status is by testing.

You need to tell us your exposure for correct risk assessment, and the most common of the ARS symptoms is very high fever.
