Hi guys two weeks after I broke up with a girl I slept with Twice ( unprotected sex) I started to get flu like symptoms croaky throat & shortness of breath ..... shortness of breath has been main concern as it has carried on to this day ... had a standard blood test and showed WCC quiet high (12.7) ... doc thought maybe possible infection /virus so at 5 weeks and 5 days I had STD test including HIV all come back negative ... what are your thoughts as I have not improved should I still look at this as a possibility for concern std related main symptom short of breath ??

You aren't infected with HIV. A 6 week's negative rules it out. Please keep following up with your GP for diagnosis of your ailment.

A duo is conclusive after 4 weeks so if that is what you used you should move on from hiv. Ask the clinic what test was used if you do not know.
Everyone gets flu and anyone can get Covid so hiv docs do not pay attention to symptoms and rely on hiv tests instead for hiv diagnosis, which you should do too.

I see you have tested for hiv and had hiv anxiety and  respiratory posts a few times over the years, so perhaps you should talk it over with your doctor for advice.
And to put more emphasis on what Anxious said, were you tested for covid?  You are describing covid symptoms, which doesn't mean you have it but make sure you were tested for it.
Ye tested 3 times not covid ... but all flu like symptoms are same as covid anyways
