used syringe

i would like to ask is there any risk of hiv from receiving a scratch or poke from a used syringe outside of healthcare setting? i notice a sharp pain in a shop and when i look at my hand there is a break of skin, however no blood were drawn, when i press the scratch area, only some transparent/clear liquid came out. is there any risk?

At no time were you at risk of contracting HIV. You did not infuse anything into your veins.
