Scared that i have HIV

Hi Everyone,

I am 28 years old and live in Saudi Arabia.

I want your opinion on this. In November 2016, I have sex with 5 women (all african) and now i am scared that i have HIV.

1st Encounter: I used condom but licked her ***** for few seconds (although it smelled pathetic). Then i inserted my finger in her ***** but as far as i can remember, my hands were fine with no cuts.

2nd encounter: She was a prostitute: She Sucked my penis for 5 seconds and then i inserted my fingers in her *****. Then i put my penis inside her ***** without a condom for like 5-10 seconds but she insisted that i wear a condom. then i wore the condom and had sex. No leakage in the condom that i know of.

3rd encounter: I didnot use any condom and had full blown sex with this girl. She looked like she was prostituting for the first time as she needed money. During sex, she had her period and there was blood all over. This thing really scared the **** out of me.

4th Encounter: Prostitute: Inserted fingers in her ***** and then had sex with condom on.

5th Encounter: She sucked my balls but i refused a blowjob. Then i inserted my fingers in her *****. Then had sex with a condom on.

All of these females are not professional prostitutes but cleaners in schools and hospitals. They do this as a way to earn extra money. Also all of them told me that they are not sick. This all happened in the country Saudi Arabia which as far as i know has strict medical test requirement before anyone can enter the country.

its been a little over the month and i have not noticed any symptoms at all. Only i have a feeling of discomfort like a muscle twist or strain over the lower right abdominal area (Its not pain but discomfort). Other than that, i have no other symptom. I am afraid to get tested in this country as if you test positive, they not only kick you out but ban you for life.

I am extremely stressed, worried, crying to myself all the time and praying. I had never though in my life that i would create this problem for myself. This is very stressful and tensionable. Please if someone has any advice or anything, kindly tell let me know about it.

If more than 28 days have passed you can get a 4th generation duo HIV test done that will pick up any infection, as the test is very accurate after 4 weeks for HIV.
I would test now,for all stds including HIV just to make sure to rule out more common stds like chlamydia/gono/NGU.

All regulations say that you should again test at 12 weeks to have a conclusive result but anything past 4 weeks is accurate for HIV.

Dr Hook and Handsfield say it is conclusive at 4 weeks Dr Hook has said the below;

All 3rd generation tests for HIV including the INSTI finger stick test are antibody tests which must perform similarly to receive approval to be sold. This is the case in the U,S., the U.K. and throughout most of the world.  3rd generation HIV antibody tests detect about 90% of recent infections at 4 weeks, 95% at 6 weeks and 99+% of infections at 8 weeks.  4th generation combination HIV antigen/antibody tests provide completely reliable, conclusive tests at 4 weeks.

Package insert assessments and the assessments of many governmental organizations are more conservative than is warranted by research studies, in part because they are bound by the original design of their studies (i.e. if they say they will assess HIV infection rates at 12 weeks, that is what they must officially report, even if they had actually detected all infections by 8 weeks) and in part because of a conservative outlook in which they cannot "afford" to be wrong.  This leads to unnecessary apprehension in people.

Trust me stress and anxiety can cause all sorts of 'symptoms' I went through it recently.

Always use a condom if you are going to visit a csw or have sex with someone you don't know,it is not worth the risk.

Also oral sex is no risk for HIV and low risk for other more common stds.

Try to relax and get tested,and trust me do not spend hours on the net looking up symptoms....it will make things so much worse and bring on more anxiety.

Thank you UK619. I am really stressed. But your words sooth me out. Thank you.

You said you went through recently so did you test negative already ?
His test results would be irrelevant.

Your pains are the result of fear making you tense up, sweat and over-analyze your body looking for symptoms that you think you can diagnose. Reality is you have no medical training so are not able to do that at all and likely it is all in your head which is a natural reaction when you mistakenly think you have proved you are dying..
You said it is over a month, so the simple solution is to do the test instead of trying to do the impossible - which is becoming a doctor without training.
@AnxiousnoMore

Thank you for your reply. Actually i am waiting for the 6 month period so that when i test at that time, i am 100 % sure of the results and there would be no need to do a retest. Besides, I am in a country where God forbid if one is tested positive, he is doomed. The government tracks you down and treats you like a nuclear threat.

The only option i have is that to test in my home country and for that i have chosen May as the month to get tested.
I have also started feeling pain in my left thumb joint and left big toe joint. That is scaring the **** out of me.

I also have right shoulder pain since 1 month. Its still there so i am also worried about that.

I had discomfort in the right lower abdomen for 2-3 weeks which is also pointing towards this whole scenario.
