what are the earliest symptoms of HIV and when does it start to become contagious?

Hi

There's a lot of documents about HIV and its symptoms and transmittal and all, but no specific info about this question...

So, when you have unprotected sex w/ an HIV positive person,
1) When and what are the earliest symptoms? itching? redness? tiny bumps? a day after getting it? a month? years?
2) When do you become contagious? does it take time, years perhaps for it to develop in your system before you are able to affect your future partners? or does it become contagious the minute you get it?

We don't discuss symptoms on this forum. HIV does not have any specific symptoms and symptoms don't diagnose HIV. If you had an exposure the only way to know your status is by testing.
