I did Eclia test after 25 days - was negative
And PCR after 26 it was also negative
It is conclusive?
If possible ask the lady to take a hiv test with you.
Okay, first of all, need to relax again. Remember LOW risk from a one time exposure --- around 1%. That's it.
The PCR test is taken around 14 to 21 days, window period being 2 to 3 weeks. 11 days is too early.
Your best bet is to focus on that this is low risk and to wait for a 4th generation Duo test at 28 days for a conclusive result. Panicking and hyper posting until then helps nothing. Your risk is low but you need to wait to test for when the result will really mean something. Stay calm and don't let your anxiety get the better of you.
Pcr test not for diagnosis cause of false negative but so u need to test 28 day after exposure by duo test it will be conclusive u r in risk but low risk please u must not to do that again protected is a safe sex for hiv but it could transmit another std wgich transmit through skin to skin
Yes you can do a PCR test
unprotected vaginal or unprotected anal sex is a risk for HIV. if she said she didn't have HIV, most people will tell the truth if they know their status, and most of the population does not have HIV so we can assume low, but I would still test with a 4th gen test at 28 days to confirm your status. i suggest wearing condoms if you're not in a monogamous relationship.
Unprotected sex IS a risk. but a one time encounter is low risk at around 1%. so, not a big worry but you will need to get tested. At 4 weeks, a 4th generation duo test is accurate and all other tests at 12 weeks. Make sure to use a condom every time from now on.
